英文諺語
英文諺語中存在著各類型的隱喻，有時逗趣、有時又充滿哲理。諺語隱射著前人的生活智慧，不僅易於學習，更可為了文章添了幾分色彩。在學習與閱讀中英諺語時我們能將其分成數大類以利學習。

• Experience is the father of wisdom and memory the mother. 經驗是知識之父，記憶是知識之母。
• Facts speak louder than words. 事實勝於雄辯。
• Fortune favors the bold. 天助勇者。
• Hot-button issue. 具爭議性的話題。
• Haste makes waste. 欲速則不達。
• History repeats itself. 歷史往往重演（泛指後人常與前人犯下同樣的錯誤）。

• Don t count your chickens before they hatch. 不要高興得太早（在事情真正發生之前，話別說太早）。
